Hello all
This is the final update for the Last Fleet kickstarter. It has been an incredible ride and we are so grateful to everyone who has helped take the game from a word document on my computer to an edited, beautifully illustrated, gorgeous physical product (which, by the way, was nominated for an Indie Groundbreaker award for Best Rules last month). Thank you.
If you are just stumbling upon the Kickstarter now, and wishing you had backed, Last Fleet and all our other games can be found on the Black Armada website, together with articles and downloadable resources for our games. You can also pick it up from retailers across the UK and USA, and at conventions (Indie Press Revolution in the US, and the UK Indie League in the UK).
I'll also mention here that we release excellent, quirky small games on a monthly basis through our Patreon, so if you like our stuff that's a great way to support us and get games into the bargain.
We completed fulfilment on Last Fleet some months back, for the 96% of backers who have completed their survey, but there are a small number still to respond. If that's you, or indeed if you have completed your survey but your reward hasn't appeared, please drop us a private message and we'll sort you out. Don't fill in the survey without contacting us separately, as we won't get any notification and may not notice for quite some time!

Quick shipping update

Hello everyone
I wanted to give you a quick update on how things are going with the Last Fleet shipping.

UK books have started arriving. Thanks to everyone who has shared photos of new books - it really helps to spread the word. If you haven't had yours yet, don't worry, as postal delays are fairly common at the moment.

US books have not yet left the UK. They are likely to be shipped from the UK around Wednesday. My shipping partner is, frankly, creaking under the strain of Brexit and Covid; and I've seen other shipments being delayed at various stages by Brexit customs and severe weather in the US. So, it may be a while before they're on US shores and on their way to you. I'll let you know when they are.

EU books are likewise waiting to be sent. This is a bit more challenging, because we're waiting to make sure that the new pre-paid customs system is working. My shipping partner has sent packages (for other customers) into the system since Brexit but, while nothing has gone missing, none of them have arrived yet, and so we're playing it cautious. I am expecting to get an update next week about this which, assuming it's good news, will provide the confidence that the system is working so we can start sending out books to EU destinations.
I'll send a further update in about 2 weeks, or sooner if I have news to share.

Shipping starts today!

Hi everyone
I've just been in touch with Kixto, and I understand that Last Fleet will start shipping today:

UK orders and other non-EU non-US orders will go out straight away.

US orders are being shipped to Indie Press Revolution in Nevada, and will be sent on from there. Transport to the US is usually pretty quick, though customs has occasionally slowed things down; I'll update again once I know that IPR have commenced shipping.

EU backers should have already received some messages from me, but to repeat what I've said elsewhere: EU orders are now subject to customs, and this has meant some administrative work to make sure that nobody is hit by huge fees that wouldn't have been required at the time that they pledged. This means EU orders won't ship for a little while longer - I'm told they should go out within 10 working days at the latest. Again, I'll update when shipping commences.
By the way: if you know someone who wants to get their hands on Last Fleet, do let them know that it is now available to order through the Black Armada website, itch.io and DriveThruRPG.
I'm really excited to get the books into your hands. Please do let us know when you start receiving them, and if you post to social media about it use the hashtag #LastFleetRPG so we can hear about it too!
